CORIAN STUDIO DESIGN
At the headquarters of the DuPont™ Corian® Design Studio di Milano, we built:
A washing block with a large undermount sink (art. VSR 80) and a differentiated waste disposal system with top loading. The perimeter of the Corian® Glacier White countertop has been slightly recessed to enclose the working area, in order to ensure the non-drip features currently available in our stainless steel sinks, and to make it possible to slide the cutting board which thereby becomes a useful moveable working space.
The tall frontal area features two jumbo drawers fitted on Blumotion slides by Blum, and, on the inside, two stainless steel waste containers to separate organic waste from non-recyclable waste. The lower frontal area features two pull-out shelves with a non-slip textured surface.
Waste containers strictly in stainless steel are placed inside to separate organic waste from the not recyclable waste. In the low front, two pull out shelves with non-slip indented surface.
A block composed of two flip-up cooktops with gas burners (art. R 30/2GR small burners - art. R 30/2GG large burners) and an induction cooktop with two cooking zones (art. R 30/2EI). The flip-up cooktops won the 18th Compasso d'Oro award for best design and for their innovative and functional qualities. What distinguishes them is that they may be raised to a vertical position so that the workspace below is free to work on. In the front section are four fully extendable shelves with non-slip textured surface.

Two open storage columns 98 cm wide and 165 cm high, with five open shelves (art. 5R/98 - 5R/165).
